Tea station

So, apparently our tea station was not getting messy enough so we have decided to use LOOSE tea with every cup of tea (that would be about 3 -4 a day)

Finally did it

So I finally did it, got organized enough to plan a menu, buy all the necessary materials on Monday and cooked my first meal; and now dinner for day 2 is roasting in the crock pot. I have to say, knowing that I dont have to worry about dinner plans is sooo refreshing. I really hope that I will continue this trend. Yes its a little time spent on pre-planning in the beginning, but the peace of mind that comes with knowing in advance exactly what you want to cook and knowing that you have all the necessary materials, is lovely.

Starting tomorrow

Ok, Tomorrow is the day .. the big day ... everyday I promise myself that the next will be the start. The start of the life that I dream of. No, I don't mean dream of in terms of winning the lottery and taking a tour around the world, its a much more simple dream than that, or at least it is supposed to be. My dream is to be organized and on task.I dont know why this is such a struggle for me. I used to always use work as an excuse for not having the time to do all the things that I want to do. Why dinner is not ready on time, why the kids are on not set schedule, why the mail is piling up, or the laundry for that matter. I really could go on for quite some tine, but I will spare you. So that is it, tomorrow is the day. I am going to start with getting organized in the kitchen. Makings sure that the menus are planned and the fridge is stocked accordingly. I have selected some recipes and am ready to try them. out.
